We accidentally stumbled on the hotel that inspired The Shining.

It was threatening to rain and there was lightning all over the place so we just went ahead and included this lady’s ass in our Estes Park road sign pic.

Anyhoo. We took our time leaving Fort Collins, bought some whiskey at a roadside distillery, wound around the mountains for a few hours, and then settled in at our hotel in downtown Denver where we’ve just been chilling all evening.
