Day 9, part 1: Moab, UT
This is literally the view from our hotel room.
And here’s the hotel pool at 6am, but we were just looking when we took this, because we had some exciting places to be bright and early.
Luckily we showered at the hotel because we’re not allowed to bathe here . . .
. . . at the Canyonlands Regional Airport, where we folded Zach into thirds and squeezed him into THIS:
This was our helicopter tour of the Canyonlands through RedTail Air. Between the three of us, we took over 1,200 photos in one day, hence the “part 1” of this post, which will just be my very very favorites from the helicopter tour, which ended at 9am, and our drive to Castle Valley before noon.
(possibly my favorite selfie I’ve ever found on Ada’s camera roll)
The helicopter ride showed us more in 60 minutes than I think we could have seen in weeks in this area. Ada was sitting in the front seat and snapping away with her own photos and videos and asking our pilot questions the entire time.
After we landed, we decided to drive the 40min out to Castle Valley and see it from the ground. Big fun.
Everything after noon to come another day.
