Day 10: Denver, Colorado to Lincoln, Nebraska

Our last adventure in Denver was tracking down the plaque commemorating the Denver Omelet and then also finding a Denver omelet on the way out of town. I put my Denver inside a tortilla for a breakfast quesadilla, making the green chili a dip instead of a smother. Variety!

Me: Do you think Tums works if you take it before doing the dumb shit?

Zach: no

Me: I guess we could try living right.

Zach: also no

Me: This is some hot salty greasy garbage. I hope there’s a breakfast Runza.

Zach: I think any Runza could be a breakfast Runza if you try hard enough.

Today was mostly driving with Grace Potter BLARING while getting passed by horse trailers at 95mph but it was entirely worth it because it ended in Lincoln, Nebraska at an amazing sushi restaurant with dear friends we have not seen since March 2020.

Today’s title from “Paris” by Grace Potter.
